Jessie Ackerson teaches 3rd-5th grade Enrichment, STEAM in Spanish and English, and Hebrew. She has spent over 20 years teaching in a variety of areas, including Spanish Immersion, Industrial Arts, Fine Art, World Cultures, Spanish, and ESL. Outside of school, she loves thinking about how to make school more fun and interesting, but also enjoys studying languages, chemistry, stargazing, playing Irish fiddle, reading about the linguistic and cultural contexts of the Bible, and playing with her family.
