Now accepting applications for a full-time Director of Dual Language (DL) for the 2026-2027 school year. The Director of Dual Language will facilitate the growth and development of the program while leading the dual language staff within the school. This individual will direct the program, work with teachers to improve academic quality, and revitalize the overall program. He/she will be a member of the administrative team, representing our immersion staff, parents, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications
The individual must possess the following qualities:
Must demonstrate personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
Active member/regular attendee of a Bible-believing church
Follower of Jesus
Bilingual (Spanish-English)
Master's in Education or Spanish
A degree or certification in Dual Language or immersion education is preferred
Knowledge of Dual Language Immersion Education (DLIE)
Leadership skills
Understanding and knowledge of the Science of Reading is preferred

Responsibilities
Develop and grow the Dual Language (DL) program.
Observe DL teachers regularly and provide coaching on Dual Language Immersion Education (DLIE) pedagogy.
Serve collaboratively on the Academic Leadership Team (ALT).
Communicate effectively with parents about the program and DLIE best practices
Consult with the Director of Learning on DL materials and curriculum.
Oversee the recruiting and onboarding of DL teachers, aides, and substitute teachers.
Pursue continuing education and personal professional development to keep up with best practices and the latest research in DLIE.
Schedule professional development for DL staff about DLIE-specific topics.
Maintain a professional learning network with other DLIE leaders.
Take responsibility for DL student learning and achievement.
Supervise and evaluate DL staff and address all performance issues.
Provide language support for DL staff as needed.
Position Details
Salaried, contracted employee - 205-day contract.
Reports to the CPCS Head of School.
