As a school dedicated to training up our children to walk in the footsteps of Christ, we are also called to educate our children well to achieve their fullest potential in the careers and passions they pursue in their life.
The curriculum at CPCS is well-rounded and designed to lay the foundation for a lifetime of learning. In addition to the core subjects of Language Arts, Science, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Bible, the CPCS curriculum is enhanced with Computer courses, Fine Arts, and Physical Education.
Crown Point Christian School is a vibrant, active school with a wide variety of programs, events and opportunities that are available to our students, parents and community.
Your donations, prayers, and time spent volunteering allow us to offer the highest quality programs, while also placing tuition levels within reach to more families and students.
To place a bid, you will first need to register as a New Bidder (or login if you have previously attended an auction hosted by Kraft Auction Service.) Follow these instructions for registration and bidding instructions.
Silent Auction bidding will close at 5:00 pm on Saturday, March 20.
A RAISE THE PADDLE opportunity will once again take place during the auction. This year we would like to improve the safety and beauty of the playground for our students. Our Building and Grounds team has made plans to level the current mulch around all playground equipment and install rubber mulch material which will provide a cleaner and safer surface for our children.

My name is Kaylee Lunsford. This is my first year working at CPCS. I am a 3rd grade DL aide and I teach 4th grade DL Bible, too.
I grew up in the St. Louis area, so I am a big fan of the Cardinals and the Blues, which hasn't earned me many friends in Chicagoland. Besides watching my favorite teams compete, I also enjoy traveling. I have had the privilege of visiting 17 countries in total. My first trip out of the country was at age 14 when I took a cruise to Mexico and the Cayman Islands with my brother and our grandparents. It was then that I caught the travel bug and also my love for the Spanish language. I continued studying Spanish throughout high school and later earned a B.A. in Spanish with a minor in TESOL. After studying abroad my final semester of college in Granada, Spain, I knew God was calling me back there. So I spent the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 school years teaching English in Spain. Living in Spain gave me the opportunity to visit many other European countries, meet people from all over the world, and eat amazing food. Besides Granada, my favorite place I've visited is Prague, Czech Republic.
I'm very grateful for the opportunities that God has given me and I anxiously await what's in store for this next chapter. Moving to Northwest Indiana was definitely not in my plans, but I know God's plans are far better than my own.
My favorite bible verse is Psalm 91:4 - He will cover you with His feathers and under His wing you'll find refuge.
Being a nurse is something that I always wanted to do, but didn't take the opportunity to do until I left my corporate office job when I became a mom. I knew that once I returned to work after my girls were school-age I wanted to pursue my dream. So, when I had a 2-year-old and 7-month old I started nursing school at Purdue in Hammond. I already had a Bachelor's in business so their 2nd Bachelor's degree Nursing program was a perfect fit for me! My family and I survived 4 back to back crazy semesters and I graduated in December of 2013 and passed my boards in January 2014. Since then I have worked in long-term care/rehab and most recently at a Gastroenterology office. I am so happy to be here at Crown Point Christian School serving our students and staff!
I have been married to my husband, Steve, since 2008 and we have two daughters who attend CPCS, Emily and Amanda. We live in Crete, IL and attend Faith Church in Dyer. In our spare time you will find us outside hiking, kayaking, gardening, and camping!
I am excited and grateful to be working at Crown Point Christian School. I was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I have been blessed to attend Christian schools my entire life. This culminated in my graduation from Trinity Christian College in 2006 with a double major in Elementary Education and Special Education. I have previously taught students with a wide range of abilities, including self-contained and resource classrooms.
My husband Dan and I were married in 2008 and have been blessed with four amazing children. Joshua, Noah, Harley and Matilda keep us on our toes and most free time is spent with the family. We enjoy family movie night and taking frequent trips to Michigan to visit with family. My personal interests include cooking, baking and reading.
A Christian education that includes students with a variety of abilities was established within me at a young age. I have two younger sisters, one of whom has Down syndrome. We three girls attended the local Christian school together. It never occurred to me as a young child that my sister’s varying abilities could have prevented her from receiving a quality Christian education. It is my passion to see that students of all abilities have that same opportunity. 1 Corinthians 12:27 states: “Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.”
My name is Lisa Flipse and I am excited to be the Dual Language Point Person here at Crown Point Christian. It brings me such joy to experience hearing the different languages and seeing the diversity displayed throughout the school. I graduated from Trinity Christian College with an elementary education degree and special education minor. I have had the privilege of teaching in a couple of different schools and also worked through Elim doing some cognitive testing. I am married to Ryan and have 4 children who all have been a part of Crown Point Christian School. I enjoy the craziness of watching my kids play sports, playing games with friends and weekend trips if possible!
My favorite Bible verse is Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Hello, CPCS Community! My name is Tyrah Kohut and I am excited and blessed to serve as your Operations Manager.
I received my degrees from Purdue University and have since enjoyed a 30 year career in the fields of Education and Engineering.
My husband, Matthew, and I have been married for over 20 years and enjoy spending time with our son Rush, who is a student at CPCS. As a family, we attend Faith Church in Dyer and together we enjoy traveling, golfing, bowling, and solving difficult math equations!
Since my childhood, Isaiah 26:3-4, have been my most treasured Bible passages. They read, “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal.” It is wonderful to know we can trust in a God who will give us strength and peace.
