School-Wide Academic Progress Monitoring

We recognize the importance of conducting ongoing assessments to help us provide the most appropriate instruction for each child. At Crown Point Christian School, we utilize a program called MAP Growth. This allows us to collect instructional data for students in kindergarten through eighth grade in the subjects of reading and math. Three times a year, students are assessed to determine if they are being appropriately supported or challenged in reading and math. These brief assessments help us determine the need for additional supports according to individual student progress.
