This is Mrs. Vroman’s tenth year at Crown Point Christian School. Prior to this she worked for two years at Sunshine Enrichment Center in Highland, Indiana. At CPCS she started as a Pre-K assistant and after four years was asked to start a Resource Room program. This program began in the fall of 2002. It started out in a library, moved to a storage room, them to the corner at the end of a hall and finally found its own place in St. John.
She attended Sawyer College of Business and worked in Chicago for the National Safety Council as an Administrative Assistant and taught Defensive Driving Programs. She started raising a family and had three children, Rachel is at Trinity Christian College studying nursing, Rebekah is a senior and Sam is a sophomore both attending Illiana. After the children got older she started attending Purdue University and is working towards a Special Education Degree.
Mrs. Vroman has had the wonderful opportunity to work with many students at CPCS and enjoys using the many gifts God has given her. Her favorite verse is Jeremiah 29:11. “For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and make you well, plans to give you hope and a future”. |
