Mrs. Zimmer~Kindergarten Teacher
Mrs. Zimmer has been a kindergarten teacher at Crown Point Christian
School since 1999. She has dazzled the kindergarten class with her
amazing talent with her mandolin, her reading skills, and her exciting
personality. These things have allowed her to teach the kindergarten
class the basics of learning. Mrs. Zimmer loves reading and storytelling
to her class. She not only loves teaching her class, but learning
from them as well.
Mrs. Zimmer went to Indiana Central University and Ball State University.
She graduated in 1982. She has completed graduate courses from Purdue
and Indiana Weslyan University. After teaching for 16 years at many
schools including John Simatovich Elementary (Wheeler, IN) and Timothy
Ball, Lake Street, and Macarthur in Crown Point, Indiana. We are
happy and proud to have her included in the staff of Crown Point
Christian School.
She is happily married. She has two daughters, her oldest daughter is attending Indiana Wesleyan and the youngest attends Crown Point High School.
Her hobbies include singing, playing the mandolin and banjo, drawing,
sewing, gardening, reading, baking, cooking, performing skits and
dramas, and doing things with her family.
Her favorite Bible verse is Joshua 24:15 “But if serving the
Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day
whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond
the river, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living.
But as for me and my house we will serve the Lord.”
