 Hello and welcome to the Discovery room!
Teaching is a great passion of mine, and has been my dream since I was in the 3rd grade. I knew that the Lord had a special calling for me in the field of education, and it is unfolding in front of my eyes!
I have taught the 4th grade for the past three years at Sioux Falls Christian in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I recently got married, and moved to the Chicago-land area. The Lord then called me to Crown Point Christian as the Discovery teacher! I am so thankful that the Lord has made His path clearly know unto me!
I graduated from Dordt College, Sioux Center, IA in 2006 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, minor in Special Education. I then graduated in 2009 from the University of Sioux Falls with a Masters in Education: Focus on Technology.
My hobbies include: rollerblading, play tennis, go for walks, being crafty, sewing, beading, sharing the love of Jesus in every aspect of my life, and spending time with friends and family!
My favorite Bible verse is Romans 1:16. "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth..."
My favorite part of teaching- is that the Lord has placed me in front of His children to instruct them in the fear of the Lord. I am very excited and enthusiastic about this high calling!
