 I was born and raised in the Southwest suburbs of Chicago. My husband, Jon and I moved to Northwest Indiana 22 years ago. We have four adult children. We also have one son yet at home who is twelve and attends CPCS. We had our first grandchild a year and a half ago and are enjoying him immensely.
I have been a stay at home mom most of my married years. I have spent many years volunteering at church functions and school activities. My hobbies include music, reading, walking, crafts, playing games and watching football games with family.
It is a great joy and privilege for me to be involved in assisting Mrs. Vanderwoude in the Discovery Center. The staff at CPCS are so professional and exhibit Christ in all they do. I always go home blessed just from being around them. I am so thankful to God for this opportunity.
I have many favorite Bible verses so I will just point to Jeremiah 9:23-24, "Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty man boast in his might, let not the rich man boast in his riches, but let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows ME, that I AM the LORD who practices steadfast love, justice and righteousness in the earth. For in these things I delight declares the LORD."
