Mr. Kamien was born and raised in Chicago, IL and graduated from Chicago Christian High School in 2006 and Trinity Christian College in 2009 earning a Bachelor's Degree in Business Education. Starting this fall, he will begin pursuing a Master’s in Educational Administration and Supervision from Saint Xavier University.
Before coming to CPCS, he served as a substitute teacher at three different school districts in the Chicago area. He started at CPCS last January teaching first through eighth grade computers. This will be Mr. Kamien’s first full year teaching at CPCS teaching pre-kindergarten through eighth grade computers.
He currently resides in Chicago, Illinois with his parents, sister Alexis (3rd grade Southwest Christian Oak Lawn) and pet dog Xena (chocolate lab). Mr. Kamien’s hobbies include: playing basketball with his friends, going to the movies, being on the computer, and enjoying time with his family and friends.
Mr. Kamien is very thankful for having the opportunity to teach computers to the students of CPCS. “Let my teaching fall like rain and my words descend like dew, like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants.” Deuteronomy 32:2
