My name is Shelley Evers. I have been an aide at Crown Point Christian
School since April 2008 beginning in the Pre-K room with Mrs. Summerhill and
now as a Kindergarten aide for Mrs. Zimmer and Mrs. VanDrunen. I grew up in
Moline, Illinois and went on to Trinity International University in
Deerfield where I studied Elementary Education. In 1993 I married my
husband Scott and moved to Littleton, Colorado where I taught 5 day
Kindergarten along with computer education and creative movement classes for
2 ½ years. After moving back to Northwest Indiana in 1996, we were blessed
with Brandon now 12, and in 1998, MacKenzie, now 10. After staying home
with the our kids for many years, I went back into the classroom working for
West Lake Special Education Coop at Wilbur Wright Middle School in Munster.
My husband and I are members of Village Evangelical Free Church of Dyer
where we have served as youth leaders, VBS Directors and are involved in
many aspects of Christian education ministries. Village is our Home, we
enjoy serving God to the fullest!

In my free time, I enjoy camping, shopping with MacKenzie, reading, getting
together with friends and interior design.
I am so blessed to have the opportunity to not only work at Crown Point
Christian School, but also to serve along side a staff who consistently
strives to show Christ to each and every student. I love it here!
