Mrs. Aardema~Middle School Language Arts
Mrs. Aardema grew up in Dyer, Indiana. She is the oldest child and the only girl out of five children. After graduating from Illiana Christian in 2002, she attended Hope College in Holland, Michigan. Mrs. Aardema graduated from Hope in 2006 with a degree in elementary education and a major in Language Arts.
After graduating from college, Mrs. Aardema taught in a combined grades classroom at a small private school for three years. This is Mrs. Aardema's second year teaching language arts. She enjoys reading and writing, and she is excited to share those passions with her students. Her favorite part about teaching is seeing the delight on a student's face when something begins to make sense for the first time.
Mrs. Aardema is married and lives in St. John with her husband. Her hobbies include studying God's word, reading, boating, traveling, knitting and spending time with her husband, family and friends.
Mrs. Aardema’s favorite verse is Jeremiah 29:11: "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future."
