I grew up in South Holland, Illinois and graduated from Illiana Christian
High School and then from Dordt College with a degree in Education and
Math. I previously taught algebra and geometry at Illiana Christian High
School for five years. I am truly enjoying being back in the classroom
after taking a few years off and am so excited to be on staff at Crown Point
Christian School! My husband Troy is the pastor of discipleship and small
groups at Calvary Reformed Church in Orland Park, Illinois; and we live in
Tinley Park, Illinois.
I enjoy playing and watching most sports, playing games, and going out to
eat. Spending time with family and friends also brings me much joy. My
favorite Bible verse is Matthew 7:7: "Ask and it will be given to you; seek
and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you."
