Mrs. Ericks~Fifth Grade Teacher
Hi! My name is Tammy Ericks and I am very excited to be teaching 5th grade at CPCS again this year! This is my second year teaching 5th grade and I am really excited to be here full time this year!
I grew up here in Indiana and graduated from Illiana Christian High School. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education at Trinity Christian College and am currently finishing my Master’s of Education at Kaplan University. I have taught a variety of ages and subjects in the past, including Jr. High English, Literature and Art at Highland Christian School.
My husband’s name is Brad and he is employed with Cook Builders in Crown Point Indiana. We have 3 wonderful children who all attend Crown Point Christian School. We love to do things together as a family. Some of the activities we enjoy most are bike-riding, roller-blading, swimming, golfing, and going to sporting events.
God has blessed me and my family in so many ways, and I love to share His blessings with those around me. I strive to teach my children and my students that with God anything is possible. I have many favorite Bible verses, but the one that always resides at the top of my list is Philippians 4:13 - “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.”
