 Miss Voss is so excited to be at Crown Point Christian School teaching 6-8th grade Science this year! She loves teaching her students all about the wonders of God's creation through environments, planets, physics, electronics, chemical interactions, human body systems, and so much more.
Miss Voss was born in Orland Park, IL and graduated from Chicago Christian High School in 2004. She attended Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education as well as minors in Integrated Science and Language Arts. While at Calvin she spent a semester in Rehoboth, New Mexico and a month in Ecuador visiting the Galapagos Islands and the Amazon Rainforest. She was also named the 2007- 2008 Student Employee of the Year for her four years of work at the Bunker Interpretive Center on Calvin’s campus. She currently lives in the St. John area. Miss Voss has three younger sisters. Her mom enjoys volunteering in a library and her dad is in construction. Miss Voss’ hobbies include water sports, watching movies, shopping, and White Sox baseball.
Miss Voss’ favorite Bible verse sits on her desk, “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always preserves. Love never fails.” 1 Corinthians 13:4 .
