 Hi! I'm Dawn Gibson and I am so thankful to have the privilege to teach third grade at CPCS. I am a Chicago Christian High School graduate and truly enjoy wearing purple and gold again! I graduated from Trinity Christian College and received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education with minors in History, Special Education and Theology. I then taught third grade at Highland Christian before starting a family.
My family consists of my husband, our niece and our four children. Scott works at Faith Church in Dyer, IN. Candice and Deseree are in college. Jori attends Illiana Christian and Laci and Isaac are students at CPCS. We also have three four-legged family members (dogs) Taffy, Frosty and Bailey. As a family we enjoy swimming, tubing, sporting events and getting together with friends and family.
I feel extremely blessed to be teaching in a Christ-centered environment! My favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." |
