Miss VanKuiken~Second Grade Student Teacher
Miss VanKuiken grew up in South Holland, Illinois before moving with her family to Cedar Lake, Indiana. After graduating from Calvin Christian School in 2002, and Covenant Christian High School in 2006, she is finishing her degree in Elementary Education through Dordt College.
Miss VanKuiken loves student teaching in Mrs. Bremer's second grade class at CPCS. It is an excellent learning experience! Her favorite subjects to teach are reading and language arts.
Some hobbies that Miss VanKuiken enjoys are watching Chicago Blackhawks hockey, going on mission trips, writing short stories and poetry, as well as reading. Her favorite bible passage is Psalm 139:7-10, "Where can I go from your spirit? Where can I hide from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast."
