Mrs. Berdine~First Grade Teacher
 Hello! I am Mrs. Stefanie Berdine and this is my first year teaching first grade at Crown Point Christian. I am so excited and blessed to be teaching here. Being a teacher is my calling and passion since I was a little girl. I love being able to watch my students learn and grow each day. I have seven years classroom experience teaching 2nd and 5th grade in the public schools. I also have three years experience as a school counselor at Kankakee Valley School District in Wheatfield, Indiana. I went to Ball State University and graduated in 2000 with a B.S. in Elementary Education. I also went to Purdue University and graduated in 2008 with a M.S. in School Counseling.
Recently, I got married at the beginning of August 2011 and live in Crown Point with my husband Jeff. My hobbies are cooking, reading, traveling, scrapbooking, gardening, and playing the piano.
My favorite bible verses are Psalm 19:14," May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock, and my Redeemer," and
2 Timothy 1:7, "For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love, and of self-discipline."
