Dale has been married to Beth for forty years. They have lived in St. John for 35 of those years, where they have raised their two daughters. Dale and Beth have five grandchildren, all of which currently attend CPCS.
Dale has lived in the area his entire life. He grew up in the Hammond area, graduated from Gavit Junior Senior High School and then from Purdue Calumet with a Mechanical Engineering Degree. He worked at Inland Steel for 30 years and retired in 2000 as the President and CEO of Ispat Inland. Since his retirement he has volunteered for Habitat for Humanity and the Boys and Girls Club of Northwest Indiana.
Dale and Beth attend Suburban Bible Church where Dale helped coordinate the remodel of the narthex and sanctuary. Recently they went on a short term mission trip where they helped repair the buildings of an orphanage in Mexico. Dale also helped last year with the remodel of a church/parsonage/community center in Chicago. As a community outreach, Suburban Bible Church has a group called Agape Go. Dale has participated in this group for many years helping with various neighborhood projects.
Dale has seen the wonderful influence that Christian Education can have on children and is honored to be asked to be a Development Director. He feels that God has opened this new door in his life and with His help he is anxious to get started!
