The focus of our Pre-Kindergarten Bible curriculum will be in line with the “Theme of the Week”. We will have Bible memory verses each month.
There will be a character trait of the month. The character traits students will learn about in Pre-Kindergarten are trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship.
Everyday Math Curriculum provides students with experiences that help them develop number sense. We employ a hands-on, problem solving approach.
Pearson Scott Foresman Reading Street is a research-based curriculum grounded in systematic, explicit instruction of:
- Phonemic awareness, phonics, and word knowledge
- Comprehensive skills and strategies
- Writing and language arts skills and strategies
The focus of the Pre-Kindergarten Science Curriculum is on developing an awareness of the world in which we live. Through scientific inquiry, concepts will be presented in the life and earth sciences. This includes the study of animals and plants, the five senses and general health, and the four seasons.
Pre-Kindergarten has Spanish, art, computer, library, physical education, and music. Each class has these once a week.
Computer Curriculum (standards from IDOE Math, Reading, and Technology Education Curriculum) include: (A) Build digital literacy, (B) Digital citizenship, and (C) Reinforce math and reading using interactive activities.
